Topic: 47 vs 49 spur gear?

yeah you won't see too much of a difference with that little of a tooth count change on spur gears. But change the driven gears' (clutch bell) tooth count even by 1 tooth and it's a noticable difference. 47/16 = 2.93:1 49/16 = 3.06:1 1 tooth up on the CB 49/17 = 2.88:1 you can see you went up 1 toot...

it's the exact same thing that's in the front/rear of the truck, just it has it also in the center with a spur gear as teh ring gear. The point of a differential is to differentiate the speed between the two objects it's driving, hence it's name. The point of a transmission is to keep the engine in ...

no you don't. You just need 40 series wheels. Pro-Line makes 40 series wheels with a 14mm hex so you don't have to convert everything if you don't want to.

they are just a press fit....not good enough though.

I'm going to be making some metal plates that cover them, they will be held on with the 4mm screw just below the dowel

the LST-size bodies fit better on the 1 to 1 1/2" ext.

.5" you can sill run stock size bodies without it looking too weird. A LST-size body on a .5 ext would look too big.

if your thinking about driving on grass or dirt there is only one... The Mini LST. It's very durable, fast, great radio, full list of hop-ups with no end in sight....

I love mine.

their the same as all the other Savage shocks... What I did to keep the caps on more secure is I take out the cap o-ring and tighten the cap. No leaks and a lot more resistant to pulling apart (it will still happen just not as often) You need an external limiter to prevent pulling the shocks apart. ...

Revo is a little more versatile. Savage is just one thing...beat on it. -Revo can race, bash, and flat-out hall balls out of the box. -Savage can just take a beating and come back for more. Of course with enough money the Savage can be brought up to the Revo's level in racing and speed (which I'm cu...
