Re: Savage Ride Height and Truggy Wing

you can just remove the preload spacers,,,that would lower the truck..
as for the wing,,,PRC makes a bolt on mount,,then you buy the actually wing and wing mount/brace.

Re: Rear wheels don't move, blown diff?

Usually a blown diff will make noise,,(crunching, clicking, clanking, grinding)

I would agree with Leroy,,Its probably the grub screw.

remember that on newer savage its a grub shaft now,,the screw might be there,,but shaft is broken,,remove the grub screw/shaft to be sure.

Re: Not a bad idea

If those are the ink-jet printer kind? They are fine for stationary objects,,but they dont stick for crap on my truck. It would be hard to use them as a mask,,you have to cut them out. They will stick long enough for a photo shoot,,but thats it,,a light breeze will blow them off. http://i338.photobu...

Re: Dremels

whatever rotory you choose,,You want adjustable speed & consider the flexable wand.
you can get more precise,,and easier on the hands.

EBAY
^^
Has exact milwaukee tool for $70 BIN.

I'm thinking about buying one now,,cordless would be so much easier,,especaily with the wand.

Re: Conversion Snow and Sand kit from Integy

They look cool,,
but I would never pay that much just for cool factor.

do they even sell parts? or do you buy another set when one breaks?
Something is going to break.

Ive bought alot of things that looked cool,,and ended up in my old parts bin.

They might be great,,Ive never used them though.

Re: A possible solution to stripped wheel hexs

Its a good idea,,I bet it would work.
They need to make other webbing insert's for other manufactures.

I havent stripped a wheel hex since I switched to buggy hex,,As long as you loctite the nut,,it doesnt go loose.
Wheel nut loosening is what causes the hex to strip.

Re: question about aluminum rear hub carriars

they are in the link on my PC,,IDK why you couldnt see them?

the long bottom pin from integy is weak & soft,,bend way too easy.

look at TCS crawlers,,they have replacement bolts,,that are super strong.

I see TCS has hd integy hubs too.

Re: question about aluminum rear hub carriars

Think about replacing the bottom pin,,the one Integy uses is too soft,,& bends easily.

TCS sells replacement 12.9 pins for like $5.

Other than the pin Integy rear hubs are great.
