I was researching the topic for a while and cant seem to get it, but noticed that this is very popular question. Mostly it ends at upgrade servo and get a hump pack. But i already did and its still crappy.
My savage has a horrible turn radius. I have Savage X with hitec 5955 steering servo and 6v hump pack so servo and battery is not an issue. I can clearly see that servo reaches the dead end with no problems. But how do i modify the dead end to be a little farther.
I researched for a couple of days now and have found that you need to do some shaving around the front tire - but where and how? All the postsseem to be back from 2003-2007 and have clear detailed pictures that are no longer available and i cant seem to figure it out from the writing on what i have to do.
Also i read that changing the servo saver or servo saver spring will solve the issue. However is it the spring or the whole servo saver that needs to be changed.
Can you please help me out here. I cant turn around the truck and its really *censored* me of. I need a baseball field to be able to turn it around at high speed.
Which upgrades should i do to make it steer better? Can you please list all of them. I want to be able to gain as much steering as possible.
Thank you. |

| Use the drag link off of a savage 21 if you can find one. |
