|
|
I am thinking about building up a buggy for the track. The thing is that I dont really have a LHS so I can build anything. I would like to build something from scratch instead of buying a car and then replacing half of it in two months ( I cant leave things alone and will do it regardless if it really needs it or not). So which cars are best for this and competitive. Here are the brands I am considering but not limited to.
HPI and HB
OFNA
Losi
What I really want is something that I can look up on ebay and find tons of stock and aftermarket like the savage. Also want to use quite a bit of carbon fiber on this build.
Any suggestions? |

Lots of love for the HB D8T from experience, so I have to vote for the D8 Hara...
But I hear HB has some new stuff in the works so you might wanna hold on and wait for that, HB parts are WAAAAAAY cheaper than the "L" word.
Mugen MBX6R/T is popular, but the dudes I run with break almost every week compared to my cheapo HB that runs day in and day out with no issues, obviously could be the guy building it, but that's what I see at the track.
D8 Hara, nothing on the HB site yet on this. http://gallery.neobuggy.net/Site-Photos/Hot-Bodies-CR8-Buggy/Hot-Bodies-CR8/15870793_7GXjCV#!i=1190102552&k=Uz623 |
