I tried searching the topic and couldn't find anything. If it exists, I'm sorry can I have the link? If not I guess I can start with what little I have.

Can someone please tell me how much the stock gt2/warlock tire and wheel combo weighs?

hpi Warlock/Dirt Bonz, (stock X SS) 214g

hpi Terra Pin (stock XL 5.9) 314g

Thank you for that.

I wasn't expecting them to be that heavy, adding 12 ounces of unsprung weight is a lot.

Stock X 4.6 RTR is 300g.

Big Joes 40 series on tech 5s is 367.

I like those Big Joe tires. Is the weight difference noticeable?

I'll be going from the Dirt Bonz to the stock 4.6, 214g to 300g.

Dunno. I just bolted them about an hour ago. Gotta figure out why my truck is eating spur gears tomorrow and hopefully get to try the tires out.

Yes, the added weight is very noticeable and the steering with the stock servo and the big joes sucks. Steers like a boat.

I was looking at those mashers for mine but got dirtbonz in the end.

Glad I did at 65gms per corner saved.

Great idea! When I was in the market for wheels and tires I really needed this. It will be a big help for people. Also, if anybody has the tire or the wheel alone, it will be great to weigh just that. :)

I got 2 different readings on Axial 8 spoke's; 116g and 124g

Next up, 40 series Mashers with Axial 8 spoke's: 399g

Aaand just for the reference, and to add a picture, I got the same reading on the Terrapins. 312g

Yeah the Dirtbonez are hard to beat. I notice an improvement in performance when going back to them.

I haven't glued my Mashers yet, I'll get the weights.

My rims are pretty consistent in weight but I've noticed the tires can be +/-5

Here are the 2 hpi rims only 5.2 grams apart but the same rims with Mashers are 8.8 grams apart, meaning two of the same tires are 3.6 grams apart.

Hpi 8 spoke 3.2 59.7 grams

Hpi warlock 3.2 54.5 grams

Phenomenal thread, should be sticky'd indeed. I wish this data was available in the forum when I was acquiring tire & wheel combos for the Savage.

Thanks, I hope it can help people with tire wheel choices too.

Not sure how to sticky or if that is something a mod probably does.
