Took my Savage out at lunch to run with my boss who has a XL, 10 minutes into it my rear wheels wouldnt spin.
All axels are in place including centers, if I hold one back wheel and spin the other there is a clicking noise..
So I ask you, is it diffs?

I wont get to look at now till after work, but any input would be great!!

And by the way, the 25 blew away the XL.....haha!

Yes, the diff. Probably the 13th pinion gear. Tune it. You should have no trouble against a .25.

3 Savages, Baja SS, LST2, Tmaxx, Emaxx 16.8, Jato3.3, Menace 28, Shockwave 55, 2 Micros, 2 NTC3s, 1/16 E-RevoVXL and I'm not done. Pics of the fleet

Pulled the tranny after I found the rear diff was ok, found a missing screw from the out drive cup from the tranny, problem solved.

95% of the time, a " 2 wheel drive" post is gonna be set screw in the drive cup. Thats what I thought before reading your post, but then you used the word "clicking" this made everyone go towards the diff, because that is a tell tale sign of a blown diff.

glad you figured it out. Wink
