nice to meet all of you! to bad i broke so early into the game! I still got in a few backflips and a few laps.
neither truck nor buggy survived
Truck:
steering crank posts
servo horn
plastic chassis brace
Buggy:
Rear suspension pin block
Special thanks to squid....if it wasnt for him i would have been done much earlier aswell as a few of us.
P.s your a mad man!
Tbill- It was awesome to meet you and your son....you guys should deffinatly get the award for highest price in breaks for the day! 2 machs! ouch.
Zapper- good luck with the motor i hope it serves you well. If someone else needs it when you have replaced yours....pass it on.
Over all this was a blast....wether i was running or not. It felt like we were all best buds and when someone needed something you could just ask your neighbor.
Hope you guys had even more fun after i left.....cant wait till next year....i'll be alot more prepared! |

lol Squid me and my friend got home last. We were there till even the guys that showed up late to practice racing were leaving. All we did was watch cause the spur gear stripped out.
Thank you tbill and squid for getting the savage running. And thanks Cyle for the Carb! It's freaking awesome. Performs better now.
And thanks to everyone else for making it such a great year and HPI for sending the stuff. Getting the new tires mounted on the Maximizers now so come monday when I get a new gear I can test out the jump in the back yard! |

Well we got home about 8:00 after a two + hour drive. Well worth it.
Final tally,
2 Losi shocks
2 Savage shocks
1 fuel tank
1 motor mount
1 body
1 dog bone
3 spur gears (melted, not stripped)
Wait till you guys see the videos.
Thank you Squid for again hosting Bashfest 2007. We had a great time. |

My gearing is really high due to its only on tank 5 when i got there and i'm running a nearly stock clutch. So it was at 15/52 i think. Towards the end it locked itself in first gear comepletely! but before that half my wheelies were from hitting second gear....thats why i slammed that fence. its hard to steer with the front wheels in the air....dont try it.
Thanks for catching my truck all those times i flipped on the track....i need alot of work lol. |

xtmsuck, thanks for the engine. tho it didnt serve me long about 3 minutes after you left, i stripped the button head out...DOH! but ill replace that small thing and keep the engine till i either get a better one or it dies and ill be sure to pass it along if the chance arises.
this years bash fest was awesome! i done good and only got hit TWO times the vid may not be as long as previous years due to the fact my truck actually ran for once!
HPI sendin stuff to give away was pretty flippin sweet if i do say so myself. thanks for the shirt!!!!
thanks for the tools and stuff tom, and the engine xtmsuck, and any other help any one gave me! not too mention that kid from pennsylvania that provided the ice for my burnt fingers!!
i think squid gets the award for best engine whack! split that baby in two!
alright well i might start work on the vid tonight, if not deff on monday. no workie tomorrow cuz of...UNADILLA! but overall thanks for the good time guys and cant wait till i get back from florida to come again! |
