i really like this combo but i also dont want to increase the rotational mass on my savy by too much compared to the gt2 tires with the warlock wheels, very much appreciated thank you. hope to hear from you guys soon.

The GT2/Warlock combo is 300g. My trencher 3.8s on axial rims were 120g heavier at 420g. The desperado seem to be a similar weight rim ( I glued a set for a friend) so you are looking at quite an increase in sprung weight. I definitely felt the difference on my truck. You don't mention which trenchers, x or traxxas style bead or the regular ones (mine) but the trencher is a substantial tire. I know I didn't exactly answer your question but from the info posted you can kind of get an idea that the trencher is not the way to go for light weight.
