Entertaining video. I like the slurred talking in it with the heavy metal in the background. Nevertheless, it does have some instructional value to me since i had no idea one could secure the roll bar with an upside down body post.
that you.
I have ordered the ext lcg, I ll try it for a bit and if i dont like it, it will be in the Sale section of this forum.
Although, I must admit, I am already getting buyers remorse as it seems to me that the non ext lcg tvps are the more fun ones to have and the ext tvps are the more stable/better handling ones.
For me half the fun of bashing is wheeling and drifting, which seem to be harder to perform with the ext tvps.
Oh well, we shall see once they get here . . .
do u mean 1.75 inches ?? cos 1.75 cm basically means they are the same length.
Ya, it's like 17.5mm. I'm still waiting on XL length lcg tvps. I emailed flm about it again. He said they would make some. Maybe if more people bugged him he would hurry up. I just love the way that wheelbase handles!

The FLM XL TVPs are sick. Better looking & easier wheelies then the LCG exts & with a dropped suspension corners nice too.

At least it was somewhat entertaining.
That was an impromptu vid for a friend in the caribbean that was on MSN Live at the time, we were drinking, and he couldn't grasp it by explanation.
Now it's my most watched vid lol.

Well, yesterday the flm ext lcg tvps finally got installed.
Haven't driven the truck yet, but i can tell that it is quite a bit heavier and that unless i plan in getting a modified Picco, the chances of it doing wheelies are less than optimal.
I ll do a test drive at the baseball field this evening and see how it performs over flat grass, tarmac and packed dirt.
Saturday i ll take it to the BMX track and see how it does in the bashing environment.
I ll post some reviews and pics.
I have a feeling that this ext tvps will make the truck much more stable but at the same time much more boring to drive. We ll see, if i dont like them they will be in the "For Sale" section for either money or a trade for regular length flm tvps

My truck wheelies on demand with Ext LCG TVPs. Not boring at all, it wheelies and has better cornering, so I can run wheelies, top speed runs, and make corners without rolling over, running back and forth resetting the Truck. Whats boring is having to slow down so much to make a corner or chasing the truck to reset it. Keep in mind for me I drive on Pavement more, rolling over is less of an issue in dirt, but still happens on grass.
You do need a strong engine. Popping wheelies with a std length X is a joke, easy for pretty much any engine, so an upgrade in that department might be needed, but it doesn't need to be a Modded Picco.
well currently i am running a 32rr axial with a ERCM side bleed pipe with 49/16 gearing. Hopefully is enough.
How about big air? is it easier to land big air jumps with the ext platform?
I dunno. The ERCM Pipe will certainly help. .32 should be big enough. Im running a .30 with an ERCM Rear/Side Bleed & wheelies like a champ running 200f
