| Ah yes, the STS headers had the same problem I believe. I think it's mainly a roto backplate problem. Can you not just measure the angle the header will need to sit at and then file the lip/flange based off that?

ok pluh i did not have to file it at all to fit, it just went straight on the k4.6 motor, i might need to when the roto start picco arrives.
I did drill 4 new holes so as the springs sit nice and even to hold the header secure to make a good seal but thats it, as kiz said just measure and file away

Yeah still a mt they can't make him race in the truggy class cause that is not a truggy one bit, no pan chassis or more importantly center diff. A really sweet truck surprised you built a savage due to the fact you just got a new truggy. O and are those Jason's towers?

Peope have been telling me that it looks like an evil ride so here's an offer to any good body painter ????
Now all i need is one of these super graphic body painters to paint me up a jammin x2 truggy shell to suit the cars look.
A dark evil, skulls, grave yard tomb stones for revo's, losi lst's, monster trucks on the headstones , with a cool SUPER SAVAGE SAM text in it as a concourse body for all the major events im going to attend with this race savage.
Anyone knows a great body painter that wants there body on a cool ride as a display body for there craft show them the ride and you never know ???

To race a revo the centre diff has to be locked firm or have 500,000 oil in it or it wont pass as a monster truck in oz at any major event.
At club level they let people run them, but i have already handed it to last years m/t champion with a revo with an o.s speed engine that had every hop up for racing, platinums have come racing and been beaten by my old flm savage so i cant wait for one to show and race this carbon fiber super savage......

found another body around the shop today that also fits the savage racer, its a little narrow but spreads out just enough to fit, so what do you guys think of the savage wrapped in a Losi 8ight 2.0 truggy body ??????

Its easy fit if you have truggy shock towers, shocks and the correct body mounting set up.
Then you have to heat and flare the sides out before you paint it to clear the side mounted pipe and then it fits
Easy.....no luck there but as you can see does fit my savage set up
