So. would these fit on my "stock" Flux?

http://www.tcscrawlers.com/HPI-Racing-Hub-Hex-Conversion-Set-17mm-Savage-87229-p-18010.html

I know that TCS have them under Savage Flux but I'm not sure 'bout if my SUPER HEAVY DUTY DRIVE SHAFT will fit in these. Does somebody have them? Or did anybody hear about them on Flux? Are they even worth buying?  Rolling Eyes

Thx for help....

to tell you the truth, i thin you are better off staying with stock..

I heard many rumous of the hexs coming loose very easily. And they are more expensive to replace than the normal wheel bolts

I think pro line do a 17mm hex kit which utilises the stock axle. but i am not sure

ok.. I wanted to buy them cause HPI gave to me Flux with all wheel axles clockwise and no Counter-Clock axles  Rolling Eyes
And so one side of my Flux came loose EVERY 2 or 3 minutes x( It's killing me and I thought that this could be cool and good solution. But...you sad that it is not  Rolling Eyes  Therefore.. I'll look for some counter-clock stock SHD axles.  Wink

All the new axles are CW. They dropped the CCW axles back when the X came out. The hex hub conversion is all CW too.

here is yer best bet:

HPI Savage 5T Axles (HPI Europe, if you can find them: #38305

Hot Bodies 17mm hubs (2): #67486

Hot Bodies 17mm nuts (4): #67492

These may work, and give you a bit wider stance. Then again they may not work, and they are discontinued but are still availible. HPI Hellfire wide 17mm Hubs (2): #87534.

Hope this helps.

But if i replace the whole dog Bones, the axles and HEX Hubs that would work on the Flux right?
I keep on loosing the stock nuts as well all the time and i am looking since 2 days into converting to that kit along with the tires, because the stock tires wobble a lot and are no good.
This is what i am looking for.
HPI - HPI87233 Nubz Conversion Set 17mm UV Joints Svg Wht

That would work, right?? What do you think of the Nubz tires??
I am just tired of tightening these nuts up so that the juice squeezes out and i keep on loosing them.
Thanks for a reply.

Think, try and pray that it works! And then off to the track..... Sakrahax des FLUXed, da gaggistangerl

first of all the movmeent your experiencing is in your axle... shim your axles to prevent this mvoement.

You say your losing a lo fo wheel nuts... well the hex nuts come off more easily....
Save your cash, and just use loc tite on the existing nuts and torque them down hard... and evey noe and then while running, check them and tighten.

Or you could spend all the cash... get the hex nuts... and then when you lose them, they will cost more to replace.....

Your choice
