Well, ive been looking and my savage 25 hasnt got a spring on the steering post like the savage x has. Is it worth the upgrade? My steering is awful and the steering post have any old screw screwed into bottom so i cant get it set correct. So im thinking of this upgrade. Also, how do you set the spring up and what does it do? Do you have it on full compression or just a little? Thanks.

its definitly worth the upgrade. The servo saver does what its name implys, it saves your servo in a hard frontal collision. The adjustable nut, according to the manual, should be set to 4mm from the bottom. And dont forget to get the bearings to replace the bushings, it will give you way better steering. I cant remember the part # for those bearings, just look it up on the HPI site. Its a Steering upgrade.

Most definitely worth every penny, and as said above, remember the bearings.
