|
|
I have a set of integy lst shocks for my savage that i have successfully modified the front ones to fit without the kit. Does anyone know of a way or of a part that can move the rear tie rods to the insde rather than out?
this would pretty much solve my problem and let me use the shocks without the innovative rc kit or the newera kit.
thanks |

| Just go with tie rod eliminators. I run them on the savage and suggy and would never go back to tierods. |

the springs do clear.
I took the old a arms and the uppers and cut the ends off for spacers and it worked out perfect, they clear completely front and back |

| No kidding? I honestly didn't think any shell would clear those piggybacks without being skyjacked |

Funny, yesterday i blow up my front diff, i had a thread about how i broke there rear diff. anyways i was on gravel and i really didnt care that the front broke i expected it, and i still had RWD which is fun as well..... then im drifting around and my rear tie rod popped off. then i find this thread lol!
So is that why people dont want rear tie rods, because they pop off? |

Yes and no. Tie rods do pop off a lot unless you do something about them, however one piece tie rod eliminators are useful simply because they reduce the number of parts needed in the rear. No C hub, king pin or tie rod. The disadvantage is that toe is locked. |
