The folling pulled from the proline website- - -

<40 Series MOAB XL

There have been numerous reports of a big, bad tire coming out by Pro-Line.

It’s BIG. It’s bad. It’s the largest diameter tire Pro-Line has ever produced for Monster Trucks. Introducing the 7” diameter 40 Series Moab XL tire.

The 40 Series Moab XL tire takes your monster truck to the next level by increasing overall ground clearance for more extreme rock climbing, stair climbing, hill climbing and everything in-between. It boasts a narrower carcass than standard 40 Series tires to reduce weight and allow for greater sidewall flex, thus increasing climbing traction. Because of the narrow carcass, it utilizes a specialty width 40 Series wheel – the 40 Series Cheyenne Bead-Loc. >

So I guess to answer your question... No you need the special rims to run these tires.

I havn't tried the crimefighters yet but I have heard good things about them I also found some comparable tires that I will try before those.
check out the website http://www.grpgandini.com/ Look under truggy truck tires for "cubic" or "grip"
Very nice tires awesome glue on the factory mounted rims and tires, and firm, fitted foams!

Not sure about those either, but it looks they might have a bit too much sidewall flex for me. Not sure though I have not seen or touched them. Sorry Embarassed

It wont, it is just showing you the difference between the 2 tires on that page. I have touched and felt these tires and the LHS has them for $37.00 US all per-mounted and ready to install. The LHS also sponsers a racer that only uses thes tires and that driver has nothing but praise for them.

Only one I saw for the grip or cubic; the company is fairly new so it might take a short time to get more of the styles on ebay

first off, i would not sugest the Moab XL's. the side wall is WAY to big and makes ur truck roll to easy. so in other words when buying a tire look for a tire that has a small side wall.

If that is the case then I would either buy a set of tires to mount on your rims or a set of 4 pre-mounted (like the RDlogics) if you wish to have another set of tires. As for the GRP truggy tires they are made for a 17mm hex.

Thats why I suggested the GRP tires very little sidewall flex in these tires. Wink

You will need the 23mm hex adpaters to run these rims/tires. I found these , and they should fit stock hexes.
