Okay.......................I've been a member for some time.
I've been witness to all the immature stuff that's transpired over the last 18 months or so. Kid's (and adults too) making absolutely meaningless posts just to get their count, title, and points built up. This stuff is simply fodder for peeps with low egos.
I've been a member long enough to know who's posts are intelligent and meaningful, but if this causes a posting frenzy it'll be endless drudgery sifting through threads filled with the all too well known "cool", " I agree with him", and "me too" posts.

BUT NOW ..............................Savage Central is indirectly promoting this behavior by offering the ability to "purchase" forum privileges. I'm gagging even as I type this.
Does anyone else hear a loud flushing sound in the background?

Oarie and mods, please don't let this new feature at Savage Central ruin all the fantastic work done previously.

Yep, and to make it worse, the people who have slowly accumulated points and their title by contributing helpful info on this forum are now back to zero. So the spammers will quickly pass them up. I also know who the credible members are, but some one new may think the spammers are the experts. I'm not sure what the solution should be, but I also hear a slight flushing sound.

I agree, it is rediculous to see people that have been members for only a month or so with 300+ posts.

i agree with you guys. the only reason i have so many posts is because i am on summer vacation and iam waiting on my savage parts to get here so i can go run it. but i am not a spamer. i have given great information and help and have asked serious questions. also i was previously under a different name on this site. but didnt use it in like 6 months. so now i got a new name and i know how to help people on this site!

I don't think the points are working, i've posted 20 or 30 times and my points havn't changed

Sticky in the general section. There were a few flaws, and the system has been taken out for the moment until those flaws can be corrected.
