it seemed not to help at all, I ended up removing it.

the sides of the shell were taped down, while doing about 90kph, one side came unstuck, veering the car straight into a curb...

I snapped a wheel clean off.

the wheel has a small dent on the inside lip, but apart from that, nothing else appears to be broken, except of course the wheel axle as pictured :p

I know... I've snapped the stock front arms, and replaced them with the upgraded composite ones that HPI produce, then I smashed a piece out of one of them too!

broken the bulkhead.

and, I think thats about it!

hitting things breaks things Wink

my xl with jp4 pipe and (17/49) gear combo does 46mph/75kmph on paved road. . .

I may have to clock one of mine one day. Think my fastest savage went 97.8MPH


In the back of my car. But really I'm thinkin my .32 3 speed savy ran around 50ish on flat pavment with a tail wind Laughing

I have gotten my stock savage x up to 107 mph in the trunk of my car.
However it tops at 39 mph with 17/47 gears measured using my iPhone to get speed
