savage X RADIO BOX SET on 4.6

hello guys,

Here in a dutch store they say that the radio box from the savage X does not fit onto a stock savage 3.5 / .25 / 4.6 etc.

Is that true? Or can i just buy it for my 4.6ss?

yes...the savage x radio box fits on other savage models. i have one on my savy 25

There is no need to modify anything. I just installed the radio box into my old savage. No problems at all.

On the savage X does it looks like this

Yeah, I've got one on my 4.6, along with X gearbox case and X roll over bar. Fits perfectly - except you I had to re-do my throttle linkage (it seems the throttle servos sits further to the rear of the truck, and the reverse seemed to need re-jigging. Other than that, easy.
Absolutely love the charge jack holder - works perfectly!

I can assure you that it will fit. Here is a pic of it installed on stock length, stock height TVPs.
