What is a LST2 good for? Is it a Racer or a basher? Is it Something In between?

The LST's are a more high end RTR... They try to be in the middle but arent the best... The LST2 is a realy decent truck but a savage is much more bashable....

LST2 good things are
good radio
good engine
23mm hexs or something close to that
aluminum gear boxes

LST and LST2's to me seem way overrated. Yes they have a good motor and good radio but the are in the same section as a t-maxx when it comes to durability. Seen far to many A-arms snap with very little force. This is because its a heavy truck with tiny A-arms. It needs upgrades to be a good racer aswell as a good basher.

Thanks for the offer but I don't want an LST. I was just trying to figure out what its purpose was.
The savage is a clear basher. Revo is a racer. LST is some kinda compromise.

What I would like is a set of your MGT LCG TVPS. What is the wait on those?

Well, I am a die hard savage fan.... Lets get that out in the open first and foremost.

I have 2 buddies that have lst1's and 2's. Both trucks are really, really nice trucks. I would certainly agree with the other posts, these trucks are a compromise for sure. They're a cross between a basher and racer. Stronger than a truggy but not as nimble, faster than a stock savage on a track but not as strong. My opinion is because these trucks are so different it's nice to have one of both.. this way you get the best of both worlds without going with a super weak truggy. The LST is great for open field play, where as the savage is more fun when you beat it within an inch of it's life.
I think both trucks have equal stongpoints for sure.
BTW the losi's are certainly stronger than people make them out to be, so you can bash them. But the savage is stronger, no doubt.

i dont know but i heard the a-arm problem is still there. But i think thats mostly because of weight and they the a-arms are so little.

The two guys I run with on the weekends run RPM arms and I can assure you, they bash them just as hard as I bash my Savage. One of them runs proline 40's with max mulchers and NEVER breaks arms, the other runs stock tire size and only broke an arm once while running into a pole.

The LST2 is not a fragile little truggy, it is tough, not as tough as a savage.. but not nearly as weak as everyone makes them out to be.
