Here is my latest creation. I have been working on it for a long time, but finally found the Chinese company that could help my dream come true.

More details to follow.

I'm not sure yet. I have them on my E-maxx, and they are OK for now. I will try my Savage in a few weeks.

that RS truck with tracks really really sucks... i mean really bad. we broke the tracks on our 'store demo truck' in less than an hour. i'd like to have some tough tracks for my savage though.

Those are cool if they work on a Savage without tearing apart.

They are the tracks for a radio shack truck. Just a fun idea to have something differrent. It actually works great with the E-Maxx. I'm going to replace the plastic parts with aluminum, so my 8 year old can fool around with it.

It would be interesting to see if they would hold up. How did you mount them? Theres a post going on RCMT on them and they had trouble with them flipping.

Any chance of some close ups? I have thought of them on my Twin Force, would be cool in the winter.

You have to make a tongue and groove system for the axle carriers that takes up the torque. That is how it doesn't flop around. The engineer at Radio Shack did a pretty good job designing this thing. But they used cheap plastic for the truck part.

This one looks better ont he HPI MT or MT2. The tracks look bigger.

It also looks like it will be easier to modify this one.[/list]

I was at radio shack last monday and saw that truck and the first thing I thought of was how to convert it to my Savage and play in the snow with it. But looking at I decided that the Savage would kill it too fast.

maybe it should just stay for stadium trucks..... I have a feeling that withthe weight of the savage and the torque and power, youll have constant problems... another idea, try to make different treads Smile for different terrain.... just a thought

I can make a movie in a few weeks, I'm still working out the bugs. I'll probably leave it on the stadium truck.
