Anybody read the latest issue of Xtreme RC cars, and see a small little part about hpi having a buggy in the works? I read it, and sounds like it might be out fairly soon. Don't want to get my hopes up, but just thought I'd pass it along...

Does it say if it's an 1/8 scale buggy? That would be sweet! Razz

And I quote "Rumor has it that a very well known company that uses three letter initials for their name, based in southern California, is working on a competition level 1/8-scale buggy. No word on a release date but our source tells us it's near completion."

LoL did that hurt? hehe here it is

www.hpiracing.com/press

I guessed it Laughing "keep it secret, keep it safe" Laughing

nothing on it as of yet about the new buggy...but on the main hpi page where they ask you what country... click japan

I don't understand the relationship between HB and HPI... same company??? lots of HB stuff on hpi's site seems weird plus all the parts they make for HPI's cars look just like the part's HPI makes....anyways...

Look at the HB buggy.... Surprised

Confused HPI and HB are not the same.. and HB does not make that buggy.... they import it from austrila where it is called a slaker pro.. so it is not a HPI or HB buggy.. it is someone elses.. look at my hb pro thread.. goto the bible pages, version one, read thru all those posts.. this conversation has arisen on that forum before.. HPI better coyp it though.. cause to be honest.. it is right now the buggy to beat for durability, handling, price and able to keep up with the 1000$ beasts out of the box...

I think I would have bought that one if I hadn't got such a great deal on my GS Storm.
